Dr. Charles Procter is at the heart of what Beltline Bariatric and Surgical Group has to offer, providing caring, compassionate, and expert resources to those hoping to lose weight and live a happier, healthier life. Renowned as one of the nation’s top bariatric surgeons, Dr. Procter is an expert in minimally-invasive techniques and robotic-assisted surgery practices. In 2008, he became the first surgeon in the state of Georgia to perform a robotic-assisted cholecystectomy, and later went on to perform the first fully robotic bariatric procedures, including sleeve gastrectomy, Roux-en Y gastric bypass, and duodenal switch surgeries.

Dr. Roger Eduardo

Head Surgeon - Newnan and Stockbridge

Wearing his board shorts and a T-shirt, Dr. Roger Eduardo didn’t look like the stereotypical surgeon while growing up on the beaches of Trinidad and Tobago. His laid-back personality is just one of the many reasons that his patients flock to him. With his down-to-earth attitude, his patients receive more than solutions to their weight loss struggles, but also a confidant who will be with them every step of the way through their weight loss journey. Dr. Eduardo is the newest bariatric surgeon on the Beltline Bariatric team, having joined in September 2019. Like the rest of Beltline Bariatric’s team, Dr. Eduardo is committed to helping patients find weight loss solutions that are safe, effective and meant for the long term.

Dr. Vishwanath Danthuluri, MD

Surgeon - Atlanta

Dr. Danthuluri is a board-certified general surgeon and bariatric surgeon. He graduated from The University of South Alabama College of Medicine. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons, American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, Society of Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, Texas Medical Association, Travis County Medical Society, and Georgia Composite Medical Board.

Mr. Danthuluri is the newest bariatric surgeon at Beltline Health. His interests and specializations include metabolic and robotic surgery.
